Flower Studies

Stillness, softness, and the details that appear when I look a little closer.

Violet flower with curved pale stamens against dark green foliage
Observation 01

A fine line

Pale filaments curl against a field of violet. A small detail holds the eye.

Cream flower with fine petal veins, a yellow ring and dark centre
Observation 02

Softness has structure

Fine lines run through the pale petals, gathering around a dark centre.

Bright pink papery bracts surrounding tiny white flowers
Observation 03

Colour, then detail

The pink arrives first. The tiny white flowers ask for a closer look.

Cluster of pale lavender flowers with violet veins and yellow markings
Observation 04

Folded light

Thin lavender surfaces overlap. Yellow marks interrupt the softness.

Single vivid violet flower with textured petals against deep shadow
Observation 05

Held by shadow

A luminous violet surface, with darkness leaving room around it.

Long red bracts and green leaves reaching into a sunlit garden path
Observation 06

A little further back

Red forms open into the surrounding green. The garden returns to the frame.
